The University of St.Gallen Library would like to draw attention to their stock of books on linguistic and cultural studies.
As a result, it is inviting you to an author’s reading under the Library dome.
Ruth Schweikert and Tim Krohn both read from their new book.. Afterwards, there is a discussion with German Studies specialist Edith Kunz.
About the authors
Ruth Schweikert (born in 1965 in Lörrach) now lives in Zurich. In 1994 the highly acclaimed short story collection “Erdnüsse. Totschlagen” was published. And in 1998 her first novel "Augen zu". As well as her major prose works, she has published numerous short stories in anthologies and is also a successful playwright.
Ruth Schweikert will read from her recently published novel “Ohio”.
Tim Krohn (born in 1965 in Germany, brought up in Glarus, Switzerland) lives as a playwright and novelist in Zurich. His book “Quatemberkinder” (1998) became a cult book almost overnight. After "Irinas Buch der leichtfertigen Liebe" he now presents his latest work "Die Erfindung der Welt".
